Yes...Greenhead Gear Duck Decoys with permanent DURA-KEEL |
Highlights
The new Greenhead Gear floating decoys for fall 2008 and continuing this fall now have DURA-KEEL™ a permanent keel. If you have followed our reviews, you know we have had problems with removable keels. We were optimistic that the new DURA-KEEL™ would eliminate breakage and leaks on the new decoys. Our optimism was well placed; the new DURA-KEEL™ Mallard Decoys are tough and no more problem with keels. These are permanent, not removable the Decoy is now one piece. The removable keel was a good idea that never worked as well as many thought it would. The concept, you had two decoys to use, remove the keel and you had a land or shore Decoy. The problem, they began to leak with hairline fractures in the bottom of the Decoy and would begin to sink. Snapping keels in and out weaken the bottom. The new DURA-KEEL™ do not have this problem, they are one solid continuous piece and last fall worked great.

Great! Kim Wardlow was a joy to work with and helped us get new decoys for 2008. |
