Highlights

Drymax® is serious about socks, and our testers appreciate the time, research and money to manufacture tough foot coverings We started tested in April in all kinds of weather, socks were soaked, dried out on the banks of the Big Horn River washed and dried numerouis times. Drymax® sent us a small sample to test by soaking it, ringing it out padding in on a paper towel and then turn inside out and pad it down on another paper towel. The inside of the sock was 90% dry. The reason, Drymax® utilizes two different fiber technologies interwoven together to from inner and outer layers. The socks lift sweat off the skin into the outer layer. Besides all the technological advancements they keep there shape, the heels do not thin out and after multiple washings they fit as they did when they we new. Candidly, most Outdoorsman does not care until they fail in cold wet weather, this does not have to happen. Drymax® performed as advertised, they are solid, and dependable.

Drymax® Trail Run ¼ Crew (Black/Orange)

Many trail running socks are simply dark colored running socks with no specific “trail” features built-in. The Drymax Trail Running socks are the exception.

EXTRA FOOT PROTECTION

Trail dirt inside a sock is a bad thing; it can easily cause blisters or rib the skin raw. To help prevent dirt from getting inside Drymax Trail socks, we did not include vents. In addition, the Trail socks’ double-welted leg has extra padding around the ankle. This extra padding protects the leg, and seals the top of the shoe to keep out dirt & debris.
Wet feet can be a trail runner’s worst enemy, and getting wet feet is almost inevitable. The Drymax Trail Running socks’ Dual Layer Moisture Elimination System actually removes sweat, sweat vapors, and water from the skin through the inner Drymax layer to the outer absorbent layer. The double welt top is made of Drymax fibers to repel water, so when a runner splashes through a creek, the top of the socks stay dry.
Drymax Trail Running Socks are a Medium+ Density protective padded sock. Dense padding is used, as opposed to thick padding, as it protects feet without adversely affecting the fit of the shoes. The Trail Running Socks were designed for use to be used in cool to warm conditions, keeping feet dry, comfortable and odor free all day long.

3D ADVANCED FIT

Drymax's five sock sizes fit because they were developed on special 3D shaped foot models. Each size sock includes a (S, M, L, XL, or XXL) color size mark for easy match-up after laundering.

ANTI-BLISTER SYSTEM

Several features work together as an anti-blister system actively preventing the formation of blisters. 1) Exceptional 3D fit, 2) Five sock sizes, 3) Seamless insides, 4) An instep-hugging arch band, and 5) Because Drymax socks stay dry, the skin stays dry too; therefore blisters normally caused by sweat or sweat vapor are prevented.

ACTIVE ODOR CONTROL

The MicroZap® antimicrobial in the Drymax® Fibers is silver - zirconium phosphate ceramic ion-exchange resin. It fights odor-causing bacteria, helping keep socks odor free. Not a topical treatment; MicroZap is molecularly infused into our Drymax fibers. Being non-migratory and non-toxic, MicroZap provides long term Active Odor Control.

LONG LASTING COMFORT, DURABILITY & LOOKS

The special fibers used in our Drymax Socks have a comfortable springiness and do not get stiff, shrink or lose shape over time. They are designed to last a long time using the highest quality fibers, and abrasion resistant nylon fiber reinforcements in the normal wear areas.

Drymax® Cold Weather Running Sock

Running in cold weather isn’t always fun. Runners have learned that wearing several layers of clothing offers the best protection. But getting dressed in layers of warm clothing inside a warm house often causes one to perspire. Starting a cold weather run with damp clothing means that the runner will get cold – quickly!

In cold or freezing temperatures, moisture is the skin’s worst enemy. Moisture pulls heat away from the skin 23 times faster than air, and can reduce skin temperature so rapidly that wet feet feel painfully cold. Wet skin makes the feet much more susceptible not only to frostbite, but also to blisters.

The Drymax Cold Weather Running Socks have a special Dual Layer Moisture Removal System. This system instantly moves moisture from the skin, through the inner Drymax layer to the outer absorbent layer, keeping feet dry. Staying dry is critical to remaining warm & comfortable in cold weather.

Drymax is the least thermally conductive fiber. This means Drymax fibers keep feet warmer because they draw less heat away from the skin.

Cold Weather Running socks are knit with Hollow Core polyester fibers on the outside to increase the insulation factor. Due to the wind chill factor, the front part of the leg tends to get the coldest; therefore a third layer of Drymax fiber insulation was added along the leading edge of the sock.
The Cold Weather Running Sock is a High Density protective padded sock. Dense padding is used as opposed to thick padding, as it protects feet without adversely affecting the fit of the shoes. Cold Weather Running Socks were designed for use in cold to cool conditions, keeping feet dry, comfortable and odor free.
