Review
The Boyt® lightweight bottom and top received a consistent workout this season. These are Weathermaxx® Merino wool baselayers, which is a polite term for long under wear bottom and top. I wore the ensemble so often it is a miracle they aren’t in tatters. Each piece is smooth as silk and feels that way against your skin. We have other baselayer that we tested and when the temperatures called for it, I put the Boyt first and then another pair on top of them. Stand-alone they are warm but I am cold blooded and need the extra warmth. I am currently using for spring fishing under my waders, days may be warm but the water is in the low to mid 40 degree range. I don’t pack away when summer hits I continue wearing under my waders to soak up moisture. The wicking property of the layers keeps moisture away from my skin. The Boyt Weathermaxx® baselayer is class product and I will continue to wear year around.
