We tested three pair of Costa sunglasses, one broke, one was lost and the third I still have. This is no reflection on quality, my son who guides for a living cannot hold on to them or keep from breaking. Costa makes impressive sunglasses and the price reflects it. We found from days on the water the fatigue component of these sunglasses is next to non-existent. A problem we have found with other sunglasses.
The fatigue factor transpires after a long day or days on the water. The sunglasses feel like they weight a hundred pounds on the bridge of the nose and behind the ears on the skull. The arm or Temples or of the sunglass can create fatigue. During the day you remove to rub these areas. If this happens, you have less than judiciously engineered pair of sunglasses. (The 580 technology works, read explanation below.)
Costa craft top quality sunglasses and the cost mirror it. You do get what you pay for, and Costa sits at the apex of distinguished built sun blockers. You will expend some coin, but in our view it is money well paid, just don’t lose or break.
