	Cleaning Decoys If your decoys look anything like mine at the opening of the season you need to wash-up. I should do this at the end of the season but I never do. As an alternative to cleaning by hand which can rapidly become tedious try this. Put them in the dishwasher on the shortest cycle with a small amount of dish washing soap. Depending on size, you can put in three to five duck decoys in at a time maybe more. I leave rigged up with anchors on and pluck out before the dry cycle is complete. This is also an effective way to find out if they leak and if they are absent some paint. I have used the dishwasher on my goose floaters, field and shells. Again differing on size will dictate how many in one cycle. Employing the dishwasher for your blocks will take a better part of your day or maybe more depending on how many you own.
